The powerful beast galloped quickly along the route it knew so well, and there was little I could do or say that would alter or hinder it's journey. Just as well, since I would have been lost in these foreign lands and would have perished at the merciless hands of the monsters that roamed the nightly forests. So I just enjoyed the scenery and listened to the rythmic pounding of the horses hooves.
