C R E A T I O N & T R A I N I N G I had been playing for a few days and strolled onto the docks of Britain. A man was fishing and I asked him if the fish were biting. He grinned and said they were, but that it was not fish he was seeking but treasure maps and SOS bottles. Oooooh I got all excited at the thought of this and immediately seeked out a place to buy a fishing pole. After fishing and fishing and fishing, and only getting fish I gave up. No treasure maps, no SOS bottles :-(. It was later that I found out the you had to have a master fisherman to get the maps and GM fisherman to get the SOS bottles. Well no wonder that I hadn't gotten anything then! Those couple of hours were such a boring experience that I didn't even think about fishing for many months. I had played for several months when I decided to take on the challenge and created Shillard. My friend Lina was working on her fisherman Zzu at the same time so we often fished together and her pleasurable company relieved the boredom of training this skill. Even so, it was very hard mentally. Back then (1999) , there were no nets, no krakens, and no ways to get SOS bottles unless you were in fact GM. So it was month after month of *plop* until it happened - Shillard made GM Fisherman.
Although making him was horrible and made me go pretty crazy at times, in the end it was worth it. Selling SOS
