Eventually she gave up and retrieted to a cave which offered shelter from the freezing night wind. As she entered, the crackling of a fire could be heard and a warm glow of light flickered across the rocky walls. She ventured forth to find a roaring fire, and sat down to warm her cold stiff body. That fire felt like the loveliest thing in the world at that moment, having spent so many hours travelling through foreign lands in the night, clothes wet from the rain that poured earlier on.
