Although the village below beckoned exploration, the druidess decided it would be safest to stay up on the cliff where she could not be seen. She plopped down on a crevice with her pet wolf and they gazed out at the beautiful scenery together. She found herself pining for the company of the champion at this moment, for she would have wanted to share this discovery, this experience, this view with him, more than anything in the world. She fantasized of them huddled together under his cloak, keeping each other snug and warm against the cold night air. Perhaps he would have known more of the mysterious village below, or what lay beyond the frothy waves of the sea. Maybe some day...
