Ultima Online as a 3D first person view sandbox game?
If you've ever played UO and wondered what Britannia might look like from your avatar's perspective, you've come to the right place. What do the mountains look like that overlook the city of Britain? How does a glimmering sunset appear from the shores of Nujel'm? This series of videos will show you that and more as it documents the process of recreating the map of Ultima Online in Wurm Unlimited on a server called Ultima Nostalgia.
The server is set to private for now, but once the main areas of the world have been built, the server will open it's doors to the public and players will be able to come and explore. The only thing you will need is the Wurm Unlimited sandbox game which you can get on Steam. Catch a horse and use it as a mount to gallop through the forests. Board a ship and sail the seas to visit famous towns, dungeons and islands. This server will offer the experience of seeing how Ultima Online would have been as a 3d game.
As we fly over the newly generated server map of Britannia, I explain what this project is all about.

It was a beast to make, but worth it. So far the hugest endevour of the project due to how big Yew is. Also see how I solved the issue of getting log cabins. (at least sort of)
